It depends on your country and the value of your order.

Your country's minimum value (the minimum value of the goods below which no duties and taxes are being collected by the Customs) determines if local customs will assess a duty or tax on your shipment. 

Duties and VAT are calculated as a percentage of the customs value of the goods (item + insurance + shipping).

You can use this duty calculator to see if your order will be assessed a duty or tax.

Any duties and taxes on your international shipment will be billed directly to you by the global carrier.

Please, be aware the following countries are under DAP Incoterms which means that ALL charges, including duties and taxes, will need to be paid by you to clear customs and complete delivery: 

South Africa, Egypt, Bolivia, India, Brazil, Argentina, Bangladesh, Mozambique, Morocco, and Uruguay
